The Culture of Maintenance

In their Bologna workshop, Andrea and Stefania don't just produce wood wax. They create a tool for protection. In a disposable world, our artisanal formula is designed to deeply nourish, protect, and extend the life of your most precious belongings, from antique furniture to leather accessories.

Why choose our Beeswax for Wood?

Deep Nourishment

Unlike industrial waxes, our formulation doesn't just create a surface film. The selected vegetable oil penetrates deep into the wood fibers, replenishing the natural lipid component and helping to restore elasticity and resistance. Coconut wax ensures an extremely fluid and even spread, improving absorption and providing initial soft and continuous protection.
Beeswax and carnauba complete the treatment: the former nourishes and seals the material while maintaining its breathability, while the latter creates a harder and more wear-resistant protective barrier. The result is natural, long-lasting, and perfectly neutral protection, preserving the original appearance of the wood without altering its color.

Real Yield (No Filler)

You don't pay for thinners or water. A 220g jar covers approximately 30 square meters. A minimal amount guarantees maximum results, justifying its value compared to cheap supermarket waxes.

Multi-Surface

Ideal as wax for antique furniture, but surprising on leather, hide, and even terracotta floors (after testing). One product for the whole house.

Oil or Wood Wax? Make the right choice

Many ask us: "Is wood oil or wax better?" The answer depends on the goal. While oil deeply impregnates, often irreversibly changing the color, our unique blend offers the best of both worlds: the penetration of vegetable oil, the reversible and polishable protection of beeswax and.

Feature Common Wood Oil KLG Neutral Wax
Aesthetic Effect Often darkens wood significantly Enhances natural grain without drastically altering tone
Protection From within Physical barrier against dust, scratches, and humidity
Maintenance Requires sanding for restoration Easily restorable with a new light coat
Touch Sometimes "oily" until dry Velvety and silky finish (Soft Touch)

Wood wax: how to use it

Application is a simple and relaxing ritual. Here's how to get the most out of your wax:

  1. Clean: Remove dust and dirt from the surface to be treated.
  2. Apply: Take a very small amount of wax with a soft cotton cloth.
  3. Spread: Massage following the wood grain or leather texture. The coconut wax will facilitate smooth spreading.
  4. Wait: Let the wood "drink" the nourishment for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Polish: With a clean, dry cloth, rub vigorously to remove excess and achieve a satin finish.

The artisan's advice

"The secret is moderation. Our wax is concentrated. A thin coat is enough. If the furniture remains sticky, you've used too much. Remove the excess and enjoy the natural scent."

From the Bologna Workshop to Italian Tradition

Italy has an incredible history in cabinetmaking, from the workshops of Brianza to the master restorers of Tuscany. In our KLG workshop in Bologna, we honor this tradition by innovating it.

We collaborate directly with local beekeepers for ethical beeswax, supporting local biodiversity. Every jar purchased supports a short and transparent micro-supply chain.

Frequently Asked Questions about Neutral Wax

How to apply neutral wax to furniture?

Remember the "Less is More" rule. Clean the surface, apply very little product with a cotton cloth, massage, wait 15 minutes, and polish vigorously with a clean cloth. No need to overdo it!

Is beeswax for wood suitable for antique furniture?

Absolutely yes. It is the traditional choice par excellence. It nourishes old wood that tends to dry out, restores elasticity, and covers small surface scratches without altering the original patina of the furniture.

Can I also use wood wax on terracotta floors?

Yes, many customers achieve excellent results on terracotta and natural stones. The wax saturates the porosity, protecting against stains. We always recommend testing on a tile in a hidden corner to check the aesthetic effect and potential slipperiness.

How long does a jar of wood furniture wax last?

Thanks to its filler-free formula composed only of active ingredients, a jar has an average yield of approximately 30 m². With regular household use, this means it can last even over a year before requiring a new package.

What is the difference between KLG wood oil and wax?

Classic oil penetrates the fibers and nourishes the wood deeply, but offers limited surface protection. Our KLG wax, on the other hand, combines nourishment and protection: it penetrates thanks to its natural oily component and, at the same time, creates a resistant and breathable barrier with precious waxes such as beeswax and carnauba, preserving the wood without altering its color.
